15 Minute Intro – Michael Rakowitz

Use MAPS in a new way. Instead of taking in everything at once you can dive into The Story of Public Art bit by bit – one project at a time. 

Every Saturday at 12:15, we offer a short introduction of one of the 90 art projects featured in the exhibition. Hear the ideas behind a groundbreaking – and often temporary – public art project from the 1950s to today. Many of these projects no longer exist out in the world and can only be experienced here at MAPS. Each week, a new project is in focus. 

Saturday, February 28th we will focus on the artist Michael Rakowitz and the work The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist from  2021.
