Welcome to MAPS
Dance Workshop, Performance, and Guided Tours
24.05.2025 11:30 – 14:00
Nørregade 29, 4600

Join us as artist and researcher Clara Ferreira Cores leads an intuitive, playful, and sensory movement workshop at MAPS. The workshop opens up new ways of moving and being present in the body, inspired by pioneers such as Anna Halprin, Trisha Brown, and Yvonne Rainer—whose work is currently featured in the exhibition The Story of Public Art.
Everyone is welcome—regardless of age or experience—and no prior knowledge of dance or intuitive movement is needed.
We begin at 11:30 on the forecourt (if the weather permits). At 12:30, we’ll offer free refreshments before you’re invited to experience a performance in Maria Hassabi’s mirrored space Passage at 13:00. At 13:15, we’ll offer guided tours of MAPS’ current exhibition The Story of Public Art—one for adults and one designed especially for families with children.
Program:
11:30–12:30 – Movement workshop
12:30 – Refreshments in the café
13:00 – Performance in Maria Hassabi’s Passage
13:15 – Guided tour of The Story of Public Art (for adults)
13:15 – Family tour and creative workshop
The workshop, refreshments, performance, and tours are all free with museum admission.
