15 Minute Intro: Trisha Brown

The Story of Public Art

15.07.2026 12:15 – 12:30

Use MAPS in a new way. Instead of taking in everything at once you can dive into The Story of Public Art bit by bit – one project at a time.

Every day at 12:15, we offer a short introduction of one of the 90 art projects featured in the exhibition. Hear the ideas behind a groundbreaking – and often temporary – public art project from the 1960s to today. Many of these projects no longer exist out in the world and can only be experienced here at MAPS. Each week, a new project is in focus.

Wednesday July 15 2026, we will focus on the artist Trisha Brown and the art works Roof Piece, 1971 and Man Walking Down the Side of a Building, 1970.

Duration: 15 minutes.

Price: Free with paid admission.
