Fun Winter Holiday Workshop

18.02.2026 10:00 – 14:00

Come along to a fun and creative workshop where you can make your very own beautiful mobile that floats, spins, and dances in the air.

In this workshop, we are inspired by a very special artwork from the exhibition The Story of Public Art: Ghost, Roses by artist Rosemary Mayer. The artwork looks like a friendly ghost—light, gentle, and magical—made to exist only for a short while, like a secret creature that appears quietly and then floats away again.

We begin by visiting the artwork in the exhibition together, where both children and adults can hear the story of Ghost, Roses and step into its magical world. Afterwards, we create our own mobiles using light materials and soft colours. You can take your mobile home and hang it up, where it can move in the air like a small, mysterious, colourful creature that plays with the light and lets your imagination keep on dreaming.

The workshop costs DKK 50 per child.
Adults join for free when accompanying a child.
Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door on the day (as long as there is space).

If you would like to visit the full exhibition The Story of Public Art afterwards, an admission ticket is required and can be purchased at the door.
